A video for your weekend after another crappy turn of events...

Most of you are probably already aware of this post by Riley. If not, please read it. Substack is placing her in a Catch-22. It is ridiculous situation. Sadly, it’s also an increasingly common situation where Big Tech monopolies exert ever-greater control of what we can do or say or even think. We (erotica artists) are in the crosshairs right now, but the problem is much bigger than us.

That’s a global issue and a topic for later (if ever). The issue now is supporting Riley and allowing her to continue doing all the wonderful (and completely legal—do I really need to say that?) things she does. Her post gives you a new way to do that.

There’s another, which for the time being is still available.

I’m not going anywhere. I’m staying here on Substack, despite their idiotic policies. I’ll continue to encourage people to push for Substack to live up to their statements about supporting free expression—which includes our right to be compensated for what we freely express—and change their policies, with should include if not dumping Stripe (a known bad actor), at least offering alternatives, be that PayPal or other billing options.

For now, the 2-for-1 deal I’m offering with Riley is still in force and will be until I get shut down, if I do. So subscribe here, to me, and get access to all of her content and all of mine.

And do agitate for Substack to do the right thing. They’re put an AI chatbot (masquerading as “customer support”) between us and them (sadly getting to be a common practice), but if enough people speak up, maybe they’ll notice. If people stay quiet, they certainly won’t change and will most likely get worse.
